Sandy Bay Paradise, Penang

First thing i loved about the Sandy Bay Paradise Hotel when i first stayed here 9 years ago is that all the rooms face the sea.. so you don't have to put up with hill view/road view rooms when the whole point of staying at a beach hotel is to be able to view the sea. Secondly the rooms come in suite style.. you have a choice of studio, paradise and family suite where you get separate sitting area with individual balconies where you can laze around in deck chairs with a nice glass of bubbly while enjoying awesome sunsets!!

And the room setup is well thought out like the hotel plans, the room set up is positioned in such a way that first thing that hits you when you get up in the morning is the view of the sea from you bed. It is almost like you are floating in the skies over the gorgeous blue ocean...an abode fit for the Gods. And service, you really can't complain but I am used to Malaysian standards of service and this is one of the better ones for what you pay for it. The rooms are clean and im satisfied with the bath cleanliness which is the first thing i look for in a hotel. And also considering it is also caters for time share units, expect a more informal atmosphere. It might need some revamping soon as they have not changed the decor past 9 years ive been there, but the fact i keep going back here whenever i can explains it all. I love it.
