The futility of our so called Modern Human Life

Strolling down the fresh produce aisle of a local hypermarket can be a time for self revelation. Marketing terms such as 'freshly packed', 'organic' and 'fresh from farm'... figures out eventually to be such a mockery of the way our great grandparents lived their lives.

It hits you right between your eyes! We once got this fresh, organic, straight from farm stuff for FREE for God's sake. And now we have to pay PREMIUM PRICE for it??????? That is NOT PROGRESS but instead many steps BACKWARDS.

MODERNISATION IS A MOCKERY AND SLAVERY OF HUMAN LIVES, enough said. 50 years ago our grandparents lived a better life than we are today and that is the STARK TRUTH.

WHERE IN THE WORLD DID WE HUMANS START TO LOSE OUR LOGIC AND SENSIBILITIES? ARE WE THE RESULT OF BRAINWASHING AND ENSLAVEMENT PROGRAMMES OF THE MAN MADE SYSTEMS OF THE WORLD?

I grew up on a house with a piece of land surrounding it where my grandma reared chicken, goats and even cows for milk. Our animals were organic to their very genetic strand. Venturing out of their open coops and barn on dewy mornings looking for fresh worms to dig and fresh shoots to pick on, they lived a HEALTHY LIFE FREE OF CHEMICALS AND PESTICIDES.

I ate 'free' organic eggs for which i didnt hv to pay premium price or any price at all except that time it never crossed my mind that that i had it AS GOOD AS IT GETS.
Long beans grew on fences as did four angle beans. Brinjals grew on little plants, when ripe, they hung like little amethyst gems ready for fun picking. So did okras, onion shoots, squash and pumpkins played hide and seek in their heavy shrub on the ground, ruby red tomatoes glistened in the sun. And we had chillies, lemongrass, curry leaves were plucked fresh from tree as various other leafy vegetables. Coconuts fell from real trees ready for pickings and scrapping and walla, we had fresh coconut milk that made all the difference to a curry or nasi lemak. Regularly we picked fresh herbs from the ground to be grinded as pastes (a.k.a pesto) to accompany the side dishes. Food was cooked from scratch, no prepacked mixes masquerading as the real stuff in our kitchen. There was love and pride in the food, the most important element, I think, in food.
Idyllic afternoons were spent picking guavas on trees and during the fruit season, an endless feast of rambutans which we picked fresh from the branches and popped right into our mouths. Carrying long bamboos to shake off ripe purple mangosteens hiding inside the branches of its tree, it was fun trying to spot the ripe ones. And a thump in the distant mean a ripe fragrant durian has fallen off its branches and running among the bushes to locate the fallen fruit was like a mini treasure hunt. We played by small ponds and lakesides, trudging through jungle paths for adventures and instinctively COMMUNED WITH NATURE. I never came across a snake or a scorpion that challenged by CAREFREE PLAY. On rainy evenings, contrary to huddling up inside the house in front of the tv, we ventured out into the rain. Some rainy days running around half naked with a bar of soap having a FREE BATH in the icy cold rain. Monsoon season we walked barefoot along little streams made by pouring rain over the long grasses. CRYSTAL CLEAR water and we never fell sick for getting wet in the rain unlike MODERN FOLKS WHO ARE VULNERABLE TO ALL FORMS OF SICKNESSES. Life was GREAT FUN, stress free and IT WAS A JOY TO BE ALIVE.

And that the BIG BAD MONSTER called MODERNISATION stepped into our lives and children had to start leaving homes to be programmed to be slaves of various systems established by a group of people who end up making all the BIG MONEY while we WORKED FOR THEM, they went out BUILDING 30-rooms mansions, buying yachts , eating all sort of nonsensical MOCKERY OF FOOD like truffles and WAGYU BEEFS and FOIE GRAS, stashing of all their monies for their next 10 generations while the rest of the world started to starve and live on month to month pay just to buy basic food items for their families.
We end up living in terraced homes so small that you can cover the length of your house running in 10 seconds yet you pay for it through your nose. We seldom saw the sunrise or sunset cooped up like MODERN farm bred chickens in their coops staring at a computer screen. LIVE IS FULL OF STRESS. UNNECESSARY STRESS. End of month see us all clamouring to PAY BILLS for things we once got free. Weekends see us all piling up in malls, SPENDING MORE MONEY to keep ourselves ENTERTAINED. We pay 10x for a mere brandname, when a cheaper brand could last forever and actually is of better quality. I was waiting at a shop where the FASHION TV was on, as i looked at those LIMBY MODELS walk down the runaway, suddenly i had the impression of looking at GRASSHOPPERS walking upright with clothes on. No offence to these women, but the RIDICULE of the whole HUMAN EMBODIMENT just stared back. Come on people, how much of our human race hv this sort ALL LIMBS genes? 10%? 20% and you want everyone to go around walking like GRASSHOPPERS on TWO LEGS and THAT is supposed to set the EXAMPLE FOR HUMAN MARKETABILITY????

We have become so SUPERFICIAL, so out of touch with our HUMANITY that might as well we all dont exist.  We are now just AUTOMATONS living our lives as DICTATED by OTHERS having lost our sight on our LIFE PURPOSE or DESTINY OF OUR BIRTHS AS HUMANS.

And then there are the IN-BETWEEN by way of their association with this lazy BANKERS and CORPORATE LEADERS , manage to salvage some extra financial bankings like the bones thrown at dogs,  they pick that up and go about paying instalments for the LUXURY CONDOS and so hyped up CLUSTER HOME concept and driving their 4WD or MPVs or MiniVANs and they think they are living a better life than the others and they go on feeding the BIG GREEDY GIANTS with all their so called investments and THE WHEEL TURNS again and again in a series of sad SELF ANNIHILATION, LOSS OF PEACE and any FULFILLMENT in life.

By the time you are ALLOWED TO HAVE YOUR LIFE BACK with retirement funds for a LIFETIME OF SLAVERY, you are just a few more years away from DROPPING DEAD. The most you can do is run for a few year around with your GRANDKIDS to MAKE UP FOR THE NEGLECT YOU SUBJECTED YOUR KIDS TO ALL THOSE YEARS.

So if you think that is MODERNISATION, then, by all means, keep at it, KEEP FEEDING MONSTER TILL ONE DAY, THERE MAY NOT EVEN BE A WAY OUT.
