I got up this morning and thought, 'ah, vegetable sandwich'. No? Oh well.
So i got to shredding a quarter cabbage finely and scraped one fresh carrot. A small onion finely sliced too. Add a dash of pickled gerkin vinegar with dill and a sprinkle of himalayan salt... sounds so glamour la! Haha, actually a squeeze of lime and plain salt will do just fine. Plus a dash of extra virgin olive oil, like french dressing ler. Of course you could dunk all into mayonaise and call it an American coleslaw, if you like. For topping, sliced up a plump tomato and a cucumber.
Throw a loaf of bread into the 'picture'....
Nice butter to coat the bread and walla...! You hv a sandwich.Optionally you can squeeze on some mayonaise.
Ok, to the meat eater and tuna eater who so big heartedly obliged my vegetarian menu for the day without complaints, here's a treat well deserved-strawberry milk shake-the short cut way! Whats new!
4 tbsp Lady's Choice Strawberry jam with juicy pulps
One litre fresh cold milk
4 tsp sugar,
2 tbsp Sunkist Lemon cordial
4 cups of ice crush/cubes.
All into blender and blitz for 45 seconds. Serves 4. Here comes brain freeze!
