The Divine Trinity

The Trinity in Christian doctrine, states that God exists as three persons, or in the Greek hypostases, but is one being In other words he is the Triune God. The persons are understood to exist as God the Father, God the Son (incarnate as Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit, each of them having the one identical essence or nature, not merely similar natures.

The Hindu trinity is of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. They are respectively the creator, preserver and destroyer of the universe.

Ok, this is what i understand it as.. the divine trinity is none other the 'me, myself and I". When a child starts referring itself as 'me', an identity is created in this world. The 'me' wants, desires and craves. With me, comes 'myself' that sustains the identity.. egocentric and self interested in terms of survival, sustenance and accumulation. And then finally .. the 'I' comes in and destroys the whole illusion when me and myself realises it has been running around the bush for aeons without really achieving anything much at all... Simple, innit?
