Not looking forward to lugging them all back to KL. These days i find the clutter free, minimalistic idea very appealing and soothing to the soul. Totally Zen. My desire to have an ancient Indian palace theme or Space techo pad has long gone with the wind. All im left with now are my dampened efforts. But I want to be able to come back from a long day's work in the city and clean my place in 10 minutes without having to deal with dust among the clutter.
On another note, the weather has been surreal past few weeks. Gustful wind all day all night, starry skies at night.. saw a shooting star last night.. God's miracle! The last time i caught one was 25 years ago! Karthigai came and went! Kiddo lit some old clay lamps and had fun keeping the fires a-lit during extreme windy nights..It's amazing how funfilled and uncomplicated life is through the eyes of a child.

Meanwhile the pups have grown. Can't believe they are 5 weeks old already. The neighbour decided to adopt one, the only male of the whole litter of 4. Whats with male pups anyway? Isn't that sex discrimination? The females are prettier and my late grandmother used to say they are more loyal and protective of their owners! Oh well.. im so wishing (and praying real hard), the three female ones will get good, loving homes soon before i move. Remind me to get the 2 adult females nutured too. I can't go through the heartbreaks of separating mother and child (pups) again!
Do check out the eye lashes on this little canine prettiness! Any takers? Email me, pls at kaleiselvi@yahoo.com if your heart is not melted already.

Since the classes are over for the holidays, had plenty of times talking long walks around the lake in the late evenings... I am going to miss this quiet, serene times in the city, dreadfully.

..and catching nature's many different displays of sunsets at the Kroh-Baling border.. this one especially was mindblowing. You had to be there to experience it coz my 5MP cam phone hardly captured the magnificience of it. You can click the picture to have a bigger view. If you looked closer, you'd see the opening in the sky over the mountain top and almost like heaven's light just descended over it! Lasted barely 5 minutes though but truly magical!

Oh well, off to KL in a couple of days. Finally, one the cuzzies are getting married and I need to finalise stuff before New Year hits!
Wishing all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
