Do you know your pasta sauces?

Ok, I'm hooked on pasta sauces currently. And i decided to take the trouble top google them and share my new found knowledge.

Primavera-the spring vegetable version



Pesto-the herb paste consisting of mainly basil, garlic, pine nuts


Bolognese-wholesome tomatoey (and celery/carrot reduced) oreganoey sauce with loads of mince meat and meatballs..my favourite
























Carbonara -egg based version with pieces of dried meats..


















Alfredo -the creamy, cheesy version..


Marinara-obviously derived from the word 'marine', this is the spiciest (chilli and peppers) of the usual tomato based sauce with loads of seafood..
