This is a rare one. I don't have a name for it. It is a green orange.. but not the normal peeling type... you need to cut this to eat...like a sunkist.. or valencia..
It seemed ages ago..(20 years or so)we used to get it in loads from across the border from Betong, Thailand.... Don't know why but it became a rare sight thereafter. So when i spotted an old lady selling them at the pasar, i grabbed a few kilos...not so cheap at RM5/kg for local oranges but can't help myself.

It has pale yellow flesh instead of orange.. the taste is like a cross between an orange and a sweet pomelo...very pleasant citrusy experience!
