Do tell how is it when my last 5 generations were Made in Malaysia as i am, I am still listed as Indian as my nationality?
Today Astro Vaanavil showcased how different Indian ethnicity in Malaysia celebrated Tamil New Year/Varusha Pirappu? Seriously?
Ok, we were Ceylonese, Malayalees, Telugus and Sikhs in India because of geographical location and other identity issues but do hv to carry on the farce in Malaysia for wanting of an alternate life? If our forefathers were happy being who they were , would they even hv ventured here? No, they wanted to change and let change happen rather than getting stuck in that mind rut which is not helping anyone's progress.
In this difficult times, we got pull our resources together and stage a united front. Instead we hv this selfish claims to petty little existence as this Indian and that Indian that again keeps us in that same old rut.
It is very simple and evident for everyone's common sense but Indians in malaysia hold on to these delusions of themselves. Especially the oldies (set old men and women) who are so stupid and stubbornly set in their ways, refusing to let change happen so that the next generation can hv a better, dignified life in Malaysia.
