Bloody hot day as usual.. rooms baking.. need AC..soon. Wandered into kitchen.. saw these on table..
One of many versions of local bananas...Pisang Raja... translate King Banana.. dont know which King.. kings nowadays seem to be more well known for bananas and their keeps. Gone are the days they actually went to war, earned their thrones and made their people proud!! Ok.. im suffering fr heatstroke and therefore shall not liable for whatever else i may say here.Need tall iced cold drink..
Then spotted bunch of limes from our tree...hmm... ice lime tea?
Kid came into kitchen. "ma, wat u want me to do.. " Poor kid got bored of her Doras and watevers on satellite.
Banana .. lime... ok... she ready for baking lesson no. 2. Banana cake! First take pic of Monkey(face) and banana!
Cut long story short.. cake ready to go into oven!
Clean up time.. kid vanishes in a poof!
Cake ready.. kid magically reappears! Takes the first slice and disappears again.. she earned it!
And now..Animal testing No. 1.. this dog is the 'municipal council' breed.. spends half a day inspecting garbage cans.. No big deal.
Animal testing No. 2.. this dog was a French lady in past life.. finicky about food.. only the best quality passes through her golden whiskered mouth! So.. it's a winner!
Kid begs for second piece..already!
