When does our heartbeat start? From conception, even before that? In spermhood? Or egghood? The sperm obviously has heartbeat to make that long journey.. the egg... who knows...
Or does the heartbeat kickstart when the two cells join in a state of combustion?
It is an interesting question.
So if our heartbeat starts even before our DNA forms, does that mean we were 'ALIVE' forever.. are reproductive cells in us alive even as we come to life?
Is it a continuous link between us and our ancestors?
That life just keep changing bodies and never actually dies?
What is the connection between the heartbeat and the life that lights up our body, that same life than leaves the body when our heartbeat ceases?
Does our heartbeat come with an expiration date?
Is it like we sending a boat ahead into the waters before we climb in it to cross over the other side?
I bet no bloody cardiologist or heart surgeon even swamiji can answer this one! Who knows, we could , if we looked deeper. And find the very secret to human existence!
