Onion pakora

Ample leftover corn oil post yesterday's curry puff fry. Hv to use up somehow hence this next dish, onion pakora. Pakora recipe varies a little here and there according to taste.

My version.

2 cups dhall (chick pea flour),
1/2 cup wheat flour.
3 big onions, chopped or sliced according to your choice.
3 green chillies chopped
A fistful of coriander leaves chopped.
2 stalks of curry leaves chopped
1 teaspoon cumin.
2 tbsp chilly powder or more if you like it really spicy.
Salt to taste

Combine with water to form batter that is easy to drop into oil.

Fry at high heat to minimise oil absorption. Drain and serve with mint chutney or chilly sauce or just with teh tarik.
