In went the flour, the cumins, backyard oregano and garlics.. stay with me please.. i said 'special'.. and that's the pastry..

Ok, what did i have in the fridge .. mix vege, cauliflower, tomatoes, young corn, a lone green chilli ..good enough and yes, must have potatoes..

An hour later.. very easy, saute onion and garlic in butter, in went the chopped vegetables, milk/cream, pepper, salt..and boiled mashed potatoes to hold it all together. Ok.. you may spot some steamed dhall too..

While the fillings cooling off... Roll out the pastry that has been in the fridge last 2 hours.. it's hard so need a bit of warming up time..

All tucked in and .. swipe with milk for shine.

One and half hours later..

Got to take this angle with pies..

Ah.. nothin like a well earned reward after hours of hard work. ;) That's special!
