Kesari

I like to believe this is one of the more 'healthier' Indian sweets. Kesari.


Semolina (rava) flour, check. Cashewnuts, check. Raisins, check.


What is Indian sweet without these little fragrant beauties.. cardamons.


Never stinge on the ghee ..


Apply heat and water.. this what happens to semolina. Sugar it and colour it as you like.


Level in a shallow tray.. oh, you can of course swipe more ghee on its hot surface..


Wait to cool and do the diamond cut.. i still insist its very healthy.
