Pisang Goreng (Banana Fritters)

I read today that somewhere in Europe, someone paid $100,000 for a white truffle. $100,000 for a fungi??? In some countries, people really know how to appreciate their food. While in Malaysia, many gems are strewn on the sidewalks but people still choose to pay 20 ringgit for 6 pieces of (overhyped) doughnuts (basically deep fried dough with sugar overload) when you can get a (healthier and tastier) fried fruit version at 6 pieces for 1 ringgit. Look at these banana fritters..the pisang goreng. Been there for ages. All in you need to do is slice the bananas and dip them in a lightly salted batter and fry. No added sugars. I rest my case.
