Vegetable Dumpling Soup

I was feeling experimental in the kitchen and I thought kiddo would fancy the idea of dumplings ...instead of usual rice (she was born to eat rice btw). She seemed keen enough at first.. but when she saw me loading all those chunky vegetables into the pot, she announced she was going to sleep (at 1pm in the afternoon which never happens btw). So i had to coax her out of her self induced slumber with various psychological manevoures. Finally she tried one piece of dumpling cautiously, by the third piece she was on the roll. Of course, she finished the dumplings and conveniently left some vegetables out.
