1) The singing has improved.. but no one has supersinging talents for sure.
How come they did not get the expert singing workshop like the Wild Card Round? Not fair because it would have helped them.
2) 2 judges have changed but i don't care much for Manimala.. she can sit tight and look pretty in her designer sarees if she wants. I like her sarees better...she should start a line soon ..that will be a better choice of career for her, if she needs one. She can start by advising the hosts.
3) The 3 nuts of hosts...who the heck (yaar, yaar, yaar) is making them wear those cheap, garish Chow Kit cum Petaling Street trash??? One word, eyesore. Sivakumar is beginning to look like one of the girls. If he is serious about showbiz, he better build up his biceps and start looking like a man. Are those bags under his eyes? Too many late nights?
4) And finally, we saw a couple of superdancers mainly being:-
First, Darshini (superb energy level, she didn't hold anything back!)
Can see she has danced on stage many times before. Plus one of the better singers.

and second, Brindha (good dancer and camera likes her. Singing improved). You know the stereotype heroine in Indian cinema? Big head, small body, big eyes, small mouth, fair skin.
Those viewers brainwashed by Indian cinema will vote for this one!

The guys didn't impress much overall ..
Anbalagan surprisingly got out of his 'softie' image and gained some respect from kootu kakis with his pelvic thrusts.. which worked for him...i think he lost some weight too! And he has a unique voice suited for village songs.

Kesavan's energy was only second best to Darshini's.
He could have done better with more punch in his dance.
But obviously he has good and generous friends! Singing o.k. lah!

The next two..Krishna and Pragash.. it was unlucky pairing. Their energies muted each other like water and air...no sparks.. The organisers should have stuck to the male-female pairing. Krishna doesn't really stand out as entertainer ... lacks Star quality. Pragash expressions are better and can do well as an actor if he fails Superstar. Both sing ok.

Well.. Arivananthan (fondly identified as Mr Sumo here), he has stage presence and for his weight he did quite ok, pairing with Parvathi. But I keep getting an image of him as a rapper!

Parvathi.. well.. a better singer, energetic dancer.. but no shooting star!

Too bad for Manggaikarasi, she is too shy to dance fast numbers. Maybe it is the "I'm married and I'm a mother so i shouldn't let it all hang out on stage" complex! That's too bad if she wants to get into showbiz coz she sings well.

Magesh.. well.. passable singer and good dancer but
it shows too much on her face she is desperate to win this!
But good friends too can take you a long way!

I think Uma looked great in her traditional dance, she glowed. Can do dance item numbers, this one. Singing, ok.

Susan. Dance wise ok. But Susan, hon, you should really tone down on your Filipino pub-singers dress style. No taste. That black layer under her green costume looked unkempt next to Uma's . Someone please rush to her Jaclyn Victor's stylist's number if you want to salvage this one.

Oh well.. let us see what happens tomorrow. Be ready for surprises!
