Why does life get complicated as one gets older? The unspoken words start to matter more than the spoken. Pride and dignity becomes paramount. People jus become vocal phobics. A deliberation period sets in between what you said where it gets postmortemed, assesed, scrutinised and what u meant when the verdict is given out.
Argh! It was so much easier before..those years when u jus look at a situation.. and decide what u want based on what u want! Simple!
Now it has to be what is right, what u really need and how it will affect you years from now! Very impatient people (me) find it hard to adjust.. but seems the brain cells get used to complex thinking as it gets older too... or does it jus get blurry? As in the grey matter.. the borderline between right and wrong.. black and white narrows and it truly becomes a grey area. A need to be right becomes even more urgent and fear sets in coz there is less time to make mistakes and redemption. So much time is wasted in the process.. precious time.. the could be's, would be's, and should be's start shifting places in the line of logic and reasoning.
Human relationships get complicated.. sometimes like an overloaded system.. it hangs and there is nothing much you can do about it except let it hang or shut it down and start anew!.. u wish!
