In the present world where Islam is vastly being associated with war and terrorism.. this basic Islamic verse gets a new lease of life in a Bollywood movie on love and self destruction.. based on the chaos in Kashmir, where a blind girl is forced to kill her lover who is a terrorist for greater good. Quite a nice movie.. Fanaa. (Especially when i get to see my fav actress..Kajol make a comeback after 5 year hiatus to dedicate to motherhood during the peek of her career.. admirable!.)

Its amazing how the human heart can recognise universal truth by itself. Ive personally heard Hindus, Buddhists and Christians humming and unconsciously mouthing the verses.
