He cycled up hill and down hill 40 miles a day to deliver letters
Later in life as how i remember him
Grandad Chinniah with his fav car -the same model he chose to own even in the last years of his life till he couldnt drive anymore. (the one my cousin Amu and I nearly crashed one foolhardy afternoon speeding down Tasek road! Of course no one knew then! )
He was homeguard in Army
After Merdeka.. he joined local health department
And also a stint with the local political scene of those days..
