Small Mind Big Mind

(A call of duty and a life ended too quickly)

So often when we feel inspired, we are able to shift our minds for achieving greater purposes. Such feelings as ... compassion, forgiveness, understanding and respect for a human life prevails. An elevation takes place in our hearts, the 'me' takes a break and 'all' takes over. And we get an overall feel-good.

Small Mind and Big Mind. How we can be capable of both though they may be completely contradicting is a strange human phenomenon.

We need the small mind characteristics to survive. Mine based.Doesn't feel too good sometimes but it is a necessary for self preservation.

We need the big mind to stay human. The good of all. Though in some cases we may have to let go of the small mind's needs to achieve this.

What happens when there is a conflict? A splintered soul?

Intelligence and intellect-tools to differentiate.

Determining forces-beliefs, conditionings, habits, surrounding influences, power, control and personal evolution process.

Q-What's its worth?

There are also then, inner gifts bestowed on us that leaves us wondering for a while.. why.. and what for?

Small mind tempts us to use it for personal gains. Some us do, some not. A matter of conscience. A touch of divinity is rather a waste on mundane things especially those we can manage ourselves. We know instinctively its for a greater use.. though we may ignore it as long as we want in order to appease our worldly needs. After all.. it is part of being human.. no written rules for being. Hence we have another deciding factor.. choice. There is no right and wrong choice. But what works for us in the end. Its our will.
