Every human will reach at least one difficult crossroad in the journey of life. It may be a of choice between solutions or a new direction we need to take.
In matters of heart, it gets complicated as the heart has a way of not obeying logic and rational. We hesitate, we doubt.. hopin for some sign. Wouldnt life be easier if it came with an instruction manual, they say. But all we hv is watever knowledge we hv accumulated and our limited experience as humans.
Even if u hv lived to 100 years old, how much is a 100 year old's experiece as a sole human compared to 6.1 billion lives on earth? Endless realities. Endless possibilities. Alternatively, we may jus leave the rest to faith and fate. Fate on the other hand, doenst suffer fools easily.
And then we may be faced with catch 22 situations or to choose the lesser of two evils. And sometimes, what may be good for us may not be the best for the person who depends on us. Especially if a young child is involved.
No child deserves to bear the responsibility of an adult's mistake and pain. Compromises had to be made to protect the child, more often at the expense of another person's hurt. But its either that or having to look into a child's eyes and seeing the whole world come crushing down.
Such choices are never easy.. Never. It is something u hv to live with and wish you had never made. A necessary evil. But something u know, u'd be at peace with in your last moments of death.
The Chinese love their tea eggs. And they love their paradigms too. So they ask...do you prefer to be the egg or the tea in the tea egg?
The egg apparently hardens and takes on a new form.. the tea absorbs its essence and enriches itself. Corny or not..i guess, the point is, u still hv a choice.
