A doggie miracle...

As ive blogged before, sometime in 2005, we adopted a dog from the furkidsmalaysia.com. An adult female maybe around 2-3 human years, she looks like a cross of pomeranian and something. Golden brown, hyperactive, she was extremely docile with my then 4 year old. All of us took to her immediately. Now, a year later we adopted a mongrel pup, or at least i thot he was a mongrel tho hubby still insists today, he is be alsation mix.

Now, the great surprise was, the two recently littered..all three female pups. And guess what, as they grew in the past weeks, two looks very much like St Bernard pups. I checked and rechecked online, there is no mistaken...they hv all the characteristic. Dont know where the genes dropped from. (The third looks exactly like her dad.)

Now im thoroughly perplexed. Is it possible? That two very different dogs could gv birth to a couple of St Bernards if there is some gene somewhre in their lineage?

Only time will tell...

This is how the two look like. Virtually.
