Vegan variety!

I was a vegan for 7 years before i decided for various reasons to revert to meat eating. It was just a personal preference.

But once in a while I do get the craves for some great vegetarian version...

Here's one's that amazing.. the shepherd pie. A friend introduced it to me like 20 years ago for Christmas and its been my favourite ever since. In all its warm fluffy creamy potatoey, cheesy, feel good, wholesome, goey glory!

Shepherd's pie is a traditional British dish that consists of a bottom layer of minced (ground) lamb in gravy covered with mashed potato and (often) a layer of cheese. It is a favourite dish of institutional cooks keen on feeding large groups of people.

5 years ago, i came across a vegetarian version subsituted with soymeat and tasted absolutely great! You could substitute with beans also. http://www.recipesource.com/main-dishes/dinner-pies/vegetarian-shepherd1.html

Absolutely feel good!
